The Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ

"We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth."  (Articles of Faith 1:6)

The gospel and church which I am called and ordained to teach and represent is the same as formerly existed in the time of Christ.  We teach what Christ taught and serve as he served.  We hold the same Priesthood and believe in miracles and blessings and healings by the power of that priesthood.
   We have the same officers that Christ established:

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;" (Ephesians 4:11)
"And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;" (Ephesians 2:20)

We use the Holy Bible as a Testament of Christ and His dealings with mankind in the "Old World" from Adam until the death of the 12 Apostles.  We also use the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Christ.  It is a record of Christ's dealings with the ancient people of the Americas.  It does not replace the Bible, but rather compliments and clarifies the teachings contained therein.

My purpose as a missionary is to invite you to come unto Christ by helping you receive the restored gospel through Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End.

   To that end I invite you to read the Book of Mormon and to soften your heart and "ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true." (Moroni 10:4)
